How fast are you?

The Sprint AR app challenges you in an augmented reality setting to compete in the renowned test of speed in sports - the 40-yard dash. Whether you aim to understand the speeds of professional athletes (4-5 seconds) or want to set a benchmark for your personal development, this application provides an opportunity to comprehend the essence of that remarkable speed.

Setting up the Sprint area:

<ul>
 <li>Scan the ground ahead of you using your iPhone's built-in augmented reality feature by pointing the camera and slowly moving the device. Once the surface is identified, a white mesh will appear over it along with an indicator for placing the starting point.</li>
 <li>Confirm the starting line placement by selecting the "Place" button.</li>
 <li>If you are not satisfied with the position, you can readjust it by clicking the "Redo" button.</li>
 <li>After placement, carefully adjust your orientation in the racing environment to capture the desired angle for recording the race.</li>
</ul>

Setting up the Racing time:

<ul>
 <li>You can specify the race duration between 4-7 seconds here. Professional athletes typically complete the 40-yard dash in under 5 seconds, but improvement is a journey for everyone!</li>
 <li>Once the race commences, the experience will be automatically recorded, and there is an option to save the video in your camera roll upon completion.</li>
</ul>

Are you prepared to Run?

We highly recommend utilizing the latest generations of iPhones or iPads equipped with Lidar sensors for an optimal AR experience. The app remains functional with older iPhone models; however, there may be some issues with stability in the racing environment. Sprint AR caters to sports enthusiasts and individuals passionate about physical and mental fitness (or those simply fond of running)!
